Warm Neutral Tone Tutorial

Hello!

Today I will go through the shades and tools and techniques I used to create this super wearable look.

So, as I mentioned previously, I always start with my eye make up in case of fall out, or absolute disaster and having to restart. We all know the pain of having to redo half your face coz of questionable colour choices!

I start by using Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in the shade Light. I’m too cheap for an eye primer unless someone has some decent recommendations??! I find this keeps my eye make-up on for the whole day, so why pay more, right?

I went in firstly with the white and off-white shades in the Makeup Revolution Fortune Favours the Brave Palette as it gives an excellent base to any colour. I then moved into my I Heart Makeup Unicorn Love Palette. I use a Boots Seventeen Eye-shadow Brush, and take the fourth shade from the top row of the unicorn love palette and run through my crease, I do this with my eye open initially, so I know I’ve actually got my crease an not half my brow bone.

I then used the fourth shade in on the second row to deepen the crease, which I find helps define my eyes. I blend this the whole way through the crease and the outer corner. To really give definition to the outer corner, I use the dark brown on the bottom row to create a neutral smokey look.

I finish my eye look with the gorgeous golden shimmer shade on the bottom row, called Love and I place this all over the lid to add a bit of sparkle.

I then used my Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge, dry (I’m not on the damp sponge hype yet, I’ll be there in 3 months time 😂) and apply my L’oreal Infallible Total Coverage Matte Foundation. After this I use more of thr collection concealer under my eyes, on the bridge of my nose and on my t-zone. I then use my sponge to apply MUA Ultra Fine Loose Setting Powder under my eyes and lightly all over to bake my face. Whilst baking I use my Makeup Revolution Arch and Shape in the shade Dark to fill in my gappy as hell eyebrows and use my Soap and Glory Supercat Eyeliner to get those flicks.

I brush off the excess setting powder and use Benefit Hoola (sample size, cheap as hell) to contour my cheeks, the top of my forehead and my temples to warm up my face, and use my Makeup Revolution Ultra Blush Palette in Sugar and Spice, I used the third shade in on the top row, the gorgeous pinky tone to the apples of my cheeks with my Real Techniques Buffing Brush. I then use a Real Techniques Foundation Brush (its tiny!)  To apply my highlight, I use the white shade in the sugar and spice pallete on the tops of my cheekbones and on my nose.

Finally, for the lip, I used Makeup Revolution Lip Euphoria in the shade Karma. And finish up with Makeup Revolution Pro Fix Setting Spray.

Thank you for reading this tutorial, I really liked this look, it lasted 9 hours at work and still looked good when I finished.

Bye for now!
